1 Resource Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Generator Technician to join our team in Owensboro, KY. As a Power Generator Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing power generators for our clients in the machinery industry. Your expertise in electrical systems and mechanical maintenance will be essential to ensuring that the generators are functioning optimally at all times.
Responsibilities:
  • Install new power generators according to specifications and industry standards
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on existing power generators
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues with power generators
  • Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components or parts
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance and repair activities
  • Collaborate with clients to schedule maintenance and repairs, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in power generator technology and maintenance practices
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant technical degree or certification preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience working with power generators
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical maintenance
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
