The Dental Assistant (DA) is responsible for assisting in the provision of dental care to patients in a public health setting. Our Dental Assistants drive our company minivans to nursing homes, memory care facilities, and more to assist our Dentist and Dental Hygienist in delivering dental care to underserved patients in the community.

Dental Assistant (DA) Responsibilities:

  • Chairside assist dentist and hygienist with common dental procedures such as (fillings, crown preparations, crown seats, extractions, dentures, and root canals)
  • Drive company minivan to scheduled facilities
  • Take free-hand X-rays
  • Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed
  • Keep the sterilization room and office clean and well-stocked
  • Maintain autoclaves and units
  • Coordinate accepted treatment and lab cases
  • Complete compliance tasks

Dental Assistant (DA) Requirements:

  • COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters

  • Ability to drive a minivan

  • Valid State driver's license

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check

  • Ability to pass a motor vehicle report (clean driving record required)

Dental Assistant (DA) Job-Type & Schedule:

  • Part-Time

  • One day week on Thursday, additional days will be provided in the near future

Dental Assistant (DA) Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • X-Ray / Radiology Certification

  • At least one year of experience working in a dental setting (preferred)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong computer and other technological skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Dental Assistant (DA) Compensation:

  • $25.00-$30.00/hr
