Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose repairs needed to correct identified complaints and perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance in accordance with company standards
- Document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services
- Provide labor time estimates to RV service advisor and plan workday with service advisors for maximum efficiency
- Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements
- Communicate additional service requests to RV service advisor
- Test and verify repairs made
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in automotive, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, or maintenance.
- Certification from college or technical school (or equivalent experience)
- RVTI certification preferred, but not required
- 5-10 years maintenance or mechanical experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of shop tools and equipment, with prior RV technician experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate technical information regarding RVs to Service Advisors.
