Job Title: Production Helper

Pay: $18/hour

Location: Ottawa KS 66067

Travel Incentive: 40-mile one-way trip = $1, 50-mile one-way trip = $2

Shifts: 5:30 AM - 2 PM (8-hour shifts) and 5:30 AM - 4 PM (10-hour shifts). Candidates need to be open to working up to ten-hour days and may include overtime on Saturdays. Most employees work about 50 hours per week.

Must-Haves:

• Experience with hand tools, grinders, etc.
• Detail-oriented
• Hard worker and driven
• Experience working in a non-climate-controlled environment (shop is dusty and open to heat, wind, and cold snowy weather)

Work Experience to Explore:

• Diesel mechanics
• Farmers
• Construction laborers
• Entry-level associates who enjoy extracurricular activities outdoors (carpentry, hunting/fishing, landscaping, etc.)

• Attendance is #1! Must be reliable and on time.

Responsibilities:

• Regularly required to stand and/or sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach outward and above shoulders with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• Frequently required to walk and stoop, bend, kneel, squat, crouch, or crawl.
• Occasionally required to climb or balance.
• Must occasionally lift, carry, and/or move up to 75 lbs.
• Occasionally push and/or pull a maximum force of 200 ft-lb.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Mental and visual application required to interpret drawings, layout, and plan work.
• Good judgment in determining the best method and procedure to be followed.
• Work on jobs while applying safety rules at all times. Safety is priority one at all times!
• Constantly have the ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (hard hat, steel-toed boots, safety glasses, gloves, earplugs, long pants, long-sleeved shirt, respirator, etc., per requirements for the position).

Qualifications
- Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools
