Job Summary — The Office Manager will be responsible for accounting functions for the office, maintaining the office, ensuring supplies and the facility are in order, and acting as a liaison between staff and the Human Resources Manager as needed.
The Office Manager is responsible and accountable for:
  • Prepare timely billings to customer, monitor/ensure timely payment, and make collections calls as required.
  • Assist with Year-end Inventory.
  • Job billing and creation of AIA billing documents
  • Financial statement preparation.
  • Monthly sales tax and other taxes as calculated by CIH
  • Month end reconciliation, year-end and closing journal entries
  • Bank Deposits
  • Creation of Customer new accounts
  • ACH fraud prevention - review of positive pay exceptions
  • Lien Waivers
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assist with Human Resources: new hire orientations, communicating staff issues to HR Manager, and other duties as assigned
  • Duties as assigned by the General Manager, Controller, or CFO.
Essential Functions

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Assisting with phones as needed
Experience & Other Requirements
  • High School Education or equivalent
  • Pre-employment background screening
  • No issue with repetitive use of fingers and hands, standing, squatting, bending and lifting up to 20lbs
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in Accounting
  • Ability to use office equipment (printers, copiers, fax machines, mailing equipment, etc..)
