Paralegal

There is a company in Oshkosh, Wisconsin looking for a paralegal! If your detail-orientated, like the law, and are great at managing multiple tasks, then this is the position for you!

Position – Paralegal

Job Location – Oshkosh, Wisconsin

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Temporary

Employment Type – Contract

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (8:00am – 4:30pm)

Starting Pay – Depends on Experience, $20-$25

Benefits – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus

Required Education – Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience (Preferred)

Required Experience – Research, writing skills & analytical skills, proficient in legal research and communication, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks, and knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and principles

You will be providing legal assistants to lawyers and the legal team with legal research, preparation of documents, case management, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Comprehensive research on legal issues, statutes, regulations, and case law.

  • Assist in drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and contracts.

  • Organize case files, including electronic and physical documents.

  • Communicate with clients to get relevant information, provide updates on case progress, and address inquiries.

  • Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and depositions.

  • Perform administrative duties, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling appointments.

  • Analyze legal issues, statutes, and case law.

  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards, confidentiality rules, and professional conduct guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Paralegal certificate or equivalent (Preferred).

  • Research, writing, and analytical skills.

  • Proficient in legal research and communication.

  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and principles.
