American Greetings is Hiring a Manager - Manufacturing Operations Near Osceola, AR
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage the day to day JIT operations. This involves daily interaction with manufacturing, scheduling, process improvement and other functions required by the Just in time process.
Establish appropriate budgets. Direct management reporting of key performance indicators.
Manage the scheduling and work flow of the cell. Provide direction and leadership to the administrative staff
Direct process improvement to reduce costs and improve quality.
Set and maintain appropriate quality measures and process specifications to achieve the quality expectation.
Work with other areas and departments to maintain proper service level and achieve manufacturing objectives.
Promote team effort, Team success and Team ownership in everything we do.
Experience RequiredFront line Leader – 2 – 3 years – To become proficient in people skills and the administering of company policies and procedures.
Manager – 2 Years – To become proficient in basic managerial concepts including budgeting, goal setting, and departmental interface.
The incumbent will need to be proficient in basic management functions, JIT philosophy and practices, team building, as well as in-depth knowledge of card conversion operations.
Education RequiredBS degree in Business, Accounting or Engineering related field of study
Proficient in employee development, leadership and teambuilding qualities.
Proficient in communications both written and verbal.
Proficient in workflow management.
Proficient in grievance and dispute resolution.
Proficient in managing the safety efforts for the flow.
