SUMMARY :

Tends machine that performs one or more packagingfunctions such as filling marking labeling banding tying packing orlabeling containers to prepare products for storage or shipment byperforming the following (but not limited to) duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain highest level of quality at alltimes.
• Places filled container(s) intoshipping boxes label boxes tape boxes shut and stacks on pallet byhand according to specification.
• Record andsubmit operational and / or production data.
• Clean machine and work station using rags solvent andscraper after each job.
• Replenish packagingsupplies such as boxes cartons glue and / or labels.

Quals

QUALIFICATIONS :

Education and / or Experience :

High school diploma or general educationdegree (GED). Prefer three to six months related experience and / ortraining.

Computer Skills :

Knowledge and experience working on a computer copierscanner and fax machine; Familiar with Outlook Express Excel andWord;

Knowledge and experience with UPS softwarehelpful.

Other Qualifications :

• Ability to speak and read English.
• Satisfactory background screening.
• Satisfactory drug screen.
• Medicalclearance to wear a respirator.
• Satisfactoryresults in preemployment tests.
• Must be ableto work in the United States legally.
