Overview:

Leland Management is seeking an experienced part-time maintenance employee for an HOA Community in the Ormond Beach area.

Role Responsibilities:

• Custodial tasks include but are not limited to: Cleaning floors (vinyl, carpet, and wood), windows, lavatories, shower/locker facilities, and windows; emptying trash receptacles, dusting furniture, and arranging for occasional contract cleaning services, i.e. draperies.
• Outdoor tasks may include pressure cleaning, emptying trash receptacles, cleaning water fountains, and cleaning outdoor furniture.
• Serve the guest and residents in the capacity of basic instructions for activities and use of facilities.
• Provide information to guests and residents as to events and activities.
• Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Must be able to work well independently as well as in a team environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English 
• General knowledge of light construction work, i.e. drywall repairs, painting, etc. 
• General knowledge of fire alarm systems, lighting, painting, and pool maintenance
• Organizational skills: Maintenance of workshop areas, inventory, and supplies 
• Preventive maintenance of community equipment
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
