Physical Therapist Aide

As a Physical Therapist Aide, you will assist withtreatment procedures as directed by therapists according to clinic policies andprocedures and as permitted by state practice act. You will also clean, preparetreatments areas and assist with appointment scheduling when necessary. This is a full-time position.

What You’ll Need:
·High School Diploma or GED required
·Exceptional verbal communication skills
·Exceptional interpersonal skills to interact with patients
What You’ll Do:
·Assist the Therapists as directed with treatment procedures in accordance with clinic policies and as permitted by state practice act
·Set up, prepare and administer modalities for patient treatment as outlined by the therapist, and according to clinic standard of treatment
·Correctly and courteously position patient as directed by the therapist for treatment procedures
·Verbally report significant information or changes in a patient’s condition to the appropriate therapist immediately
·Stock linen and prepare treatment areas daily; treatment areas to be maintained throughout each working day
·Clean treatment tables, mats, exercise equipment according to clinic procedures
·Maintain water level daily in hydrocollator and clean hydrocollator according to infection control policies and procedures
·Remove and launder soiled linens in accordance with clinic procedures
·Perform reception duties as needed, answer the telephone politely, assist caller or direct calls to the requested person
·Greet all patients in a courteous manner, notify therapist of their arrival and initiate treatment procedures upon the advice of the therapist
·Assist with the maintenance of patient medical records
·Schedule appointments according to clinic policy
·Assist the therapists and Clinic Manager in delivering patient satisfaction and engagement
