Key Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming packages and shipments, verifying accuracy and inspecting items for damage.
- Sort and organize packages based on destination and delivery route.
- Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling, packaging, and documenting contents.
- Load and unload packages onto delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including stock replenishment and cycle counts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the package handling area, including disposing of packaging materials.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a package handler or in a similar role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and the ability to use inventory management software.
- Excellent communication skills and a cooperative attitude towards teamwork.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
