Digital Renegades is Hiring a Remote Web Designer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Web Designer to join our team! The ideal candidate is a multi-talented person who can think creatively, problem solve, and experiment with the latest trends in user interface design and development.

This role is responsible for designing responsive Web Design for custom WordPress theme development. You should have a strong understanding of front-end development with HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and experienced in Beaver Builder.

Duties:

  • Design, create, and modify websites.
  • Convert written, graphic, and video components to compatible web formats.
  • Develop custom WordPress themes and templates.
  • Maintain HTML, CMS or eCommerce websites.
  • Adhere to web standards and maintain website optimization (content optimization, image optimization, etc.) for accessibility.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and preferences
  • Implement responsive design principles to ensure websites work seamlessly on various devices.
  • Create and optimize graphics for the web
  • Conduct website usability testing
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web design

Experience:

  • 2 years of successful experience in digital marketing, web design, or related a field.
  • Must have relevant portfolio to demonstrate design and development skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interface Design, Web Design, or related design field.
  • Thorough knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, LESS.
  • Proficient with WordPress CMS environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Strong knowledge of layout design, typography, and color theory.
  • Capable of owning a project from beginning to end.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
