Job Title: Residential Service Technician
Job Description: Facilitate in repairing and replacing Garage Doors and Operators. Strive to provide exceptional service, and Contribute to our Mission and Vision
Reports to: Residential Service Manager
Pay: Training pay is $18 an hour (more for Expereince Garage Door Technicians)
After training pay is piece rate, techs are paid per call.
Critical Tasks & Responsibilities
● Service, maintain, upgrade and install residential garage doors and operators
● Provide and follow up on estimates for repair or replacements
● Scrum with Residential Service Manager Daily to followup on incompletes and update point of contact.
● Keep Truck inventory in check.
● Maintain company provided truck.
● Complete emergency calls and service.
● Utilize company software to complete, bill, estimate and organize work orders.
● Effectively communicate in person, via phone, text and/or email with customers.
● Arrive to all scheduled appointments in the assigned time window
● Educate Homeowners about their products.
● Obtain payment and appropriate signatures from homeowners.
● Defend and promote the Lowry Doors culture.
Required Competencies and Qualifications
● 1 year construction and/or mechanical experience
● 1 year customer service experience
● Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record
● Must be able to work legally in the United States.
● Fluent in English
● Embodies core values of honesty and Integrity
● Organized
● Goal oriented
● Moderate computer and technology skills
● Proficient with hand and power tools
● Able to repeatedly lift 75 lbs. over your head and carry for 100 ft.
● Comfortable working at heights up to 20 ft.
● Maintain professional appearance.
