We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated, detail-oriented and has an eye for visual excellence to join our team as a Power BI Developer. As a Power BI Developer at Mity inc., you can expect to assist in maintaining existing BI reports and creating reports that help many departments use data driven decision making. This role plays a crucial role in providing visibility and data to the executives of the company.
Qualifications

• minimum of 1-2 years dashboard design experience with at least 6 months of Power BI experience is required.
• years of experience writing Dax is preferred as writing Dax will be required as part of the job.
• in learning and staying current with Microsoft’s cutting-edge developments regarding Power BI and Fabric is expected.
• with KPIs related to manufacturing and sales is preferred.
• degree relating to visual design (or equivalent experience) and reporting is a benefit.
• with Python coding, T-SQL, and/or Jupyter notebooks are benefits.

Responsibilities

• primary role of the Power BI Developer is to assist in maintaining and creating Power BI reports.
• this will be a cross functional role due to a small BI team, Designing, implementing, and maintaining databases and data systems are optional growth opportunities within the role.
• complex data sets to identify business and market trends.
• statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business reports.
• and developing enterprise-wide data analysis and reporting solutions.
• designing, and supporting interactive data dashboard and business intelligence reports.
• findings to stakeholders through effective data visualization techniques.
• with business teams to understand their needs and requirements.
• with team members to collect and analyze data.
• that are complete, accurate and timely are the expected output.
• project management communication around the cost, quality, and time to complete estimates is expected during planning meetings with daily and project specific cadences.
• in Power BI or Power Query, Dax measures, and visualizations in Excel.
• experience using Agile or Scrum project management is a plus.
• to learn Fabric and Azure DevOps.
• that the data solutions are running as intended and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
