Orion S.A. is Hiring an I&E Technician Near Orange, TX
- Install, replace, calibrate, and troubleshoot electrically powered equipment and other devices that are used to monitor and control the manufacturing process.
- Perform preventative maintenance checks on pumps, compressors, blowers, and auxiliary equipment.
- Perform inspection and maintenance checks on control equipment.
- Maintain required documentation and records.
- An associate degree in industrial electronics or a related field is strongly preferred for this position. Experience may be substituted for the degree requirement
- For degreed candidates, a minimum of two years of relevant experience is preferred; new graduates who have completed an internship may be considered.
- For non-degreed candidates, a minimum of five years of experience as an I&E technician in a chemical plant or refinery are required. Experience in the Armed Forces in an equivalent role may count toward this experience requirement.
- The ability to use or quickly SAP is a plus.
- The successful candidate must be able to successfully complete a battery of pre-employment tests.
