CiresiMorek is Hiring a Director of Engineering Near Orange, CA

We are currently assisting our client, a global leader in their industry, with an Director of Engineering search in Orange County, CA. This position will lead and mentor the Engineering department and manage the function for the organization; responsible for the design engineering programs from initial concept phases to launch, while ensuring projects are completed on time and on budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes to maximize efficiencies and achieve capacity requirements
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to develop strategies for increasing market share in existing markets in addition to penetrating new markets
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement for the most effective use of resources and drive improvement in product quality
  • Manage the prototypes and testing to meet customer requirements
  • Engage with suppliers for development support when necessary

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
  • 10 years' in manufacturing engineering, with at least five years in a senior leadership role
  • Experience with commercial aerospace product development preferred
  • Proven team leadership experience with an emphasis on developing and long-term strategy
