Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Supervisor to join our therapy practice. The Clinical Supervisor must be Licensed in CA (LMFT, LCSW, PhD.) will play a crucial role in overseeing the clinical team, providing supervision to associate therapists, provide group consultation to clinical therapists, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality therapeutic services to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of clinical expertise, management experience, and a commitment to professional development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical supervision to associate therapists, including individual supervision and case consultation.
- Manage and mentor the clinical team, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively engage with both the team as a whole and individual staff members.
- Conduct training for the clinical staff on various therapeutic modalities and best practices once a month.
- Assist with marketing and promoting practice growth through participation in community events, networking opportunities, and developing outreach strategies.
- Maintain a caseload of clients, seeing a minimum of 16 sessions per week.
- Utilize evidence-based modalities, including CBT, EMDR, Brainspotting, Gottman Method, DBT, and trauma-informed care, in client treatment.
- Work with couples and adult clients, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns.
- Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in therapy practice.
Requirements:
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Ph.D. in Psychology.
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a therapy practice or related setting.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising associate therapists for a minimum of 5 years.
- Proficiency in at least two of the following modalities: CBT, EMDR, Brainspotting, EFT, Gottman Method, DBT, trauma-informed care.
- Comfortable training and presenting to the staff on various mental health topics.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on best practices in the field.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- The ideal candidate should possess adaptability and flexibility to navigate the dynamic nature of our practice. This entails embracing new approaches, responding well to potential changes, and working collaboratively with team members to sustain the practice's ongoing prosperity.
