Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales, with the ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently.

Duties:

- Greet customers entering the establishment

- Scan items, provide pricing, and accept payments

- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers

- Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas

- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner

- Upsell products or services when appropriate

Requirements:

- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred

- Proficiency in cash handling and operating POS systems

- Strong communication skills with a customer-oriented approach

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy

- Knowledge of building materials and hardware a plus
