Description

Maveric Automation is a privately owned company that specializes in electrical, mechanical and software related contract manufacturing. We provide products and assemblies for a wide range of industries and customers. Our experience includes industrial, medical, electronics, mobile and consumer markets, and working with companies of all sizes.

Maveric Automation is looking for an individual that has experience in electronics and that is reliable, mature, self-motivated and willing to learn. We will provide on the job training for specific equipment & products.

Responsibilities

  • Mechanical and electrical construction of developed products
  • Test, Diagnose, repair and/or replace malfunctioning electronic components
  • Operation Manufacturing Equipment such as Pick and Place Machine, Reflow Oven, Wave Soldering Machine, CNC Mill and / Lathe.
  • Circuit board population and soldering
  • General manufacturing work
  • Assist with packing and shipping products and stocking supplies
  • Learns how to use and apply tools relevant for performing the essential functions of this job description
  • Follow company procedures and basic safety procedures/protocols.

Qualifications

  • Proficient with Windows 10 operating system and proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Must be comfortable testing equipment rated for up to 240VAC
  • Minimal understanding of electronics & electrical circuits
  • Knowledge in the use basic electronics and manufacturing tools (oscilloscopes, voltmeters, calipers, soldering irons, as well as basic hand tools)
  • Exhibits a good attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Ability to follow procedures to create sub-assemblies for larger products.

Sufficient knowledge to perform one or more of the following:

  • Produce components to print specifications using CNC controlled equipment.
  • Produce PCB assemblies from BOM / XYRS / Gerber files using Stencil Printer, Pick & Place, Reflow & Wave Solder Equipment.

Work Environment

  • Climate Controlled Environment
  • The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and in risk of electrical shock, while performing the duties of this job. There is a usually moderate noise level in the work environment.

Work Schedule

  • Part time and full time positions available
  • Occasional overtime and weekend work available, but not required

Pay: $15.50 - $17.50 per hour
