Job Overview:
The Nutrition Coordinator will oversee a quality Nutrition program in Oconto County. This is a part time position.

Primary duties include:

• Managing a multi-faceted senior nutrition dining and home delivered meal program.
• Conducting assessments for people interested in meal services to determine eligibility of applicants for participation in the Home Delivered Meals program
• Facilitation of staff education on food safety, red flags, etc. throughout the year.
• Performs administrative work related to the Nutrition Program. This includes but is not limited to: coordination with contracted service providers and food vendors, creating and maintaining accurate and timely records and data entry into the statewide record keeping system.
• Attending meetings and travel as needed within the county to the various meal sites.
• Recruiting volunteers to work at the meal sites and coordinating volunteer training and volunteer recognition

Requirements:

• Food handling and preparation knowledge
• Serv Safe Certification and formal education of food safety qualifications - to be obtained on-the-job
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills are required
• Demonstrated logistics and planning ability
• Awareness of the needs of older adults is essential
• Leadership and management experience desired

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $11.00 per hour
