Job Overview:

The Contract Manager plays a critical role in our ability to achieve goals by creating and maintaining strong relationships with our stakeholders and vendor partners. In this role, the Contract Manager is responsible for maintaining a contract portfolio that supports an item to contract ratio of 95 percent in all medical and non-medical areas, with a primary focus on best value and standardization.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university or Five (5) years of related work experience in Contract Administration, Project Management, Vendor Management or Purchasing, preferably in a healthcare provider setting
• Computer skills: PeopleSoft preferred, Microsoft Excel, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree

Scheduling Requirements:

• Full-time, Day

Essential Functions:

• The Contract Manger leads negotiations and proposed contract reviews that result in executed, extended or renewed agreements.

• The ability to analyze the current practices in order to support and enhance the contract life cycle is important.

• Project Management and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams through initiatives from inception to completion is a primary function.

• Maintaining individual and departmental KPIs is essential in overall performance.
