You must be able to work all shifts 7am-3:30pm / 3pm - 1130pm, Weekends and Holidays.

As a Maintenance Technician, or Maintenance Mechanic, it is your job to perform ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs on equipment. Your duties include fixing machinery, plumbing, heating and wiring, inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards and scheduling major repairs with the building’s inhabitants. Also be prepared to work in our renovations for the upcoming fall/winter season.

Be courteous to customers and sensitive to their needs.

· Respond as promptly as possible to guest requests for repairs or replacements.

· Maintain the physical plan according to established company guidelines.

· Support the goals and objectives of the Director of Engineering and assist in all aspects.

· Must keep a neat appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.

· Perform any reasonable request as assigned or directed by management.

· Know your work schedule and follow it with high degree of reliability..

· Maintain proper uniform standards and personal hygiene.

· Read, understand and follow all policies, procedures, and rules as stated in the Princess Royale Employee and Safety Handbook.

· Keep communications flowing freely between all hotel departments.

· Inform management of any work related problems or guest complaints.

· Practice “Aggressive Hospitality” and provide guest satisfaction by promoting good will throughout the Hotel.

· Assist in achieving and maintaining a superior physical plant with well functioning equipment.

· Support the Hotel’s efforts in energy conservation.

· Respect and support the department, the Hotel and the company’s goals and objectives.

· Know basic maintenance skills. - Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs Knowledge of hand tools and equipment

· Frequent walking, lifting, bending, and stooping. Previous experience in construction or related field

· Requires time spent performing repairs in public areas of the Hotel.

· Assist Management in any work areas when needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
