Job Description And DutiesUnder the direction of an IT Supervisor II, the incumbent serves as a Lead MECM Administrator supporting business operations in the Oakland District Office and surrounding area.
MAJOR FUNCTIONS: The incumbent works collaboratively with management and provides leadership for the administrative and technical support for computers, laptops, and printers. The incumbent performs complex activities of the System Development Life-cycle which includes systems: analysis, design, build, test, maintenance and operations. Incumbent applies SDLC principles in deploying district-wide software updates and software deployments using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM). Additionally, the incumbent provides lead support for all phases of end user device life cycle management including deployment, installation, configuration, maintenance and operations. The incumbent provides end user training in the configuration and use of client technologies. Incumbent also serves as the district webmaster and provides training and support for district 4 webmasters in using Drupal and SiteCore. The incumbent collaborates with peers and management to update and recommend standards, processes and procedures, and technology practices. The incumbent also performs functions including, but are not limited to, researching, writing, reporting, presenting, etc.
