- Supervising CNAs
- Medication Administration
- Wound care and treatment
- Providing general nursing care to residents in accordance with the facility's nursing policy and procedures
- Addressing problems identified in the resident’s care plan for RN Nurse review
- Current and active license by the Minnesota Board of Nursing to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
- Ability to interact with a variety of people and foster a team philosophy
- Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, residents, families, and professional/regulatory agents
