Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to our diverse client base, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to promote mental health and well-being.

Responsibilities:
- Complete initial psychiatric evaluations for new patients.

- Facilitate outpatient psychiatric patient visits for the evaluation and management of established patients.

- Document services in accordance with billing requirements in a timely and accurate manner.

- Assess for serious medication side effects such as tardive dyskinesia per best practice guidelines.

- Respond to nursing department in a timely manner to address immediate patient needs.

- Assist in completing paperwork required for prior authorizations, benefit determinations, and other patient requests.

- Educate patients on lifestyle choices that may influence mental health status.

- Coordinate with Thrive staff for follow-up services needed by any Thrive client.

- Other medical duties necessary for carrying out the position.

Qualifications:

· RN License

· Graduate degree in nursing or nursing practice

· APN Certificate from an accredited body

· License to prescribe controlled substances
