Position Overview: As a Direct Care Worker at All-Ways Care, you will play a crucial role in enriching the lives of our clients. You will provide personalized care and support to individuals who may have physical, developmental, or cognitive challenges, ensuring their safety, well-being, and comfort. Your compassion, patience, and professionalism will contribute to creating a positive and nurturing environment for our clients to thrive. We specialize in helping our consumers acheive goals, both in their home and in the community during CLS and we provide respite care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support individuals in their daily activities, such as meal preparation, eating, and mobility.
• Foster social interaction and companionship to enhance clients' emotional well-being.
• Document and maintain accurate records of clients' progress and activities.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate parties.
• Assist the client in maintaining a clean and organized living environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (additional relevant education is a plus).
• Experience with children
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for improving the lives of others.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required).
