Job description
Our client is a leading global manufacturing company with $2B in annual revenue and over 100 locations across the globe. They are seeking a Senior Manager of Financial Reporting who will lead the external reporting activities for the company.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the external financial reporting
- Serve as the point person for all M&A accounting and integration activities
- Responsible for the evaluation and determination of the proper accounting treatment and disclosure related to complex or unusual transactions
- Review and evaluate accounting systems and internal controls processes and make recommendations for improvement
- Lead the external audit activities
- Oversee and lead a team
Professional Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 10 years of experience
- CPA (required)
- M&A Accounting is a plus
- Superior analytical, technical, and accounting skills
- Strong written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
