S&S Appliance Parts and Service is Hiring an Appliance Technician Near Norwich, NY
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various household appliances, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
**Duties:**
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on a variety of appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and ovens
- Assemble and disassemble appliances to troubleshoot issues
- Utilize electrical knowledge to identify and resolve appliance malfunctions
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to guide repair processes
- Provide in-home service calls to customers for appliance repairs
- Drive company vehicles for appliance delivery or service calls
-Work in the shop repairing appliances the customers brought in
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience in Appliance Repair or related field a plus- pay is based on experience
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Proficiency in handling electrical components safely
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy appliances and equipment
**Nice-to-Have Skills:**
- Experience as a Delivery Driver for appliances
- Familiarity with assembling appliances during installation
- Understanding of refrigeration systems
- Previous work as an Equipment Repair Technician
