Job Summary: As a Psychometrist specializing in neuropsychological assessments, you will play a crucial role in our assessment team. You will be responsible for administering and scoring a wide range of neuropsychological tests to individuals referred for evaluation. Working under the supervision of licensed neuropsychologists, your role will involve conducting standardized assessments, managing testing materials, and maintaining accurate records of test administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Administering neuropsychological tests to patients as directed by licensed psychologists.
  • Ensuring the proper setup and administration of assessment tools according to standardized protocols.
  • Accurately scoring and recording test results for further analysis by the supervising psychologist.
  • Ensuring a comfortable testing environment.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines in handling patient information.
  • Following up on outstanding observer assessments.
  • Ensuring the proper maintenance and calibration of assessment equipment and materials.
  • Staying updated with current research and best practices in neuropsychological testing administration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, or related field.
  • Proven experience in administering neuropsychological assessments is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of various neuropsychological tests and assessment tools.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assessments efficiently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and the assessment team.
  • Sensitivity and empathy when dealing with individuals facing cognitive and emotional challenges.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in test administration and scoring.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
  • Familiarity with relevant ethical guidelines and patient confidentiality regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Psychometrist or similar credentials is a plus.
  • Experience working in a clinical or healthcare setting.
