Multi Billion Dollar Asset Manager seeking an addition to their Accounting team with track to a Controller position in the future. The right candidate will be working within the Tax arena and looking to make the move to a more true accounting role while leveraging their understanding within tax filing, and K-1 prep.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial reporting for various directly advised products, including investment partnerships
• Manage the tax processes for the fund and several investment partnerships, including reviewing tax workpapers, returns, K-1s, multi-state filings, and handling other tax-related issues.
• Daily, Monthly and Annual performance reporting
• Liaise and guide fund administrators to coordinate daily and monthly NAV calculations,
• Work with External Auditors

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
• Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience, with a focus on K-1 partnership tax.
• Strong knowledge of financial services industry regulations and standards.
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software
