Sally Beauty is looking for a Beauty Advisor to join our team! We are a small, fast-paced, and creative beauty supply store in Northport, AL.

About the position:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Beauty Consultant who is interested in learning how to sell beauty products and or supplies and accessories. We are looking for someone who is interested in building a strong customer base by providing exceptional customer service. Must be available on weekends , and have reliable transportation!

Essential duties:

• Greet customers as they enter our store upon opening and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Learn and demonstrate product knowledge to customers.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store and the work area.
• Assist with restocking products, including but not limited to: removing stock from displays, emptying trash, cleaning mirrors, etc.
• Maintain a positive attitude towards customers and colleagues.
• Participate in inventory control including but not limited to: opening and closing inventory, restocking shelves, etc.
• Assist with restocking of cosmetics, including but not limited to: removing stock from boxes, emptying trash, cleaning displays, etc.
• Build a strong customer base by providing exceptional customer service.
• Participate in the replenishment of all consumable products including but not limited to: lipsticks, eye shadows, lipglasses, etc.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times while working in a retail environment.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Required skills:

• Must be able to work independently or with other employees.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with management and customers.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend stand walk for extended periods of time as well as perform repetitive motions such as hands fingers wrists hands (push pull), neck shoulders head back down on head repeatedly throughout shift.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $13.50 per hour
