Volt is immediately hiring for Assembly Worker / Production Worker in Northfield, MN

As a n Assembly Worker / Production Worker you will :
- Produces all products to defined quality levels, yield and standard.
- Understands all production criteria for all products that are applicable to the Imaging process tasks.
- Sets up and operates imaging machines, making photo imaging screens, Ink Mixing, slitting materials, setting up machines, Oven baking, and related equipment.
- Makes adjustments to speed, tension, timing and related variables as needed to meet specifications.
- Uses measuring devices- scope, Stereo, Comparators’, viscosity measuring, Weight scales, micrometer and other devices that are required for process and product requirements.
- Performs routine visual checks on work in process as needed to meet specifications.
- Performs routine maintenance on processing equipment as needed.
- Works with supervisory, quality, engineering and other production support personnel as special problems or requirements develop.
- Assists in the training of less experienced operators.
- Follows safety rules.
- Maintains a neat and orderly work area.
This is a Full TIme opportunity.
The ideal Assembly / Production candidate will have :
- Able to lift 40lbs repeatedly
- Able to stand / work, climb to high spaces, bend down and overall move for entire shift (8-12 hours)
- Able to handle strong odors
- Be comfortable in close spaces
- High attention to detail
- Be able to follow safety protocol and keep orderly working space
- Candidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirements
Shift Times :
- 2 : 30pm- 10 : 30pm 2nd shift, Monday- Friday
- 10pm- 6 : 30am 3rd shift, Sunday-Thursday
Pay Rate : $19.70 - $20.35 per hour plus shift differential
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
