Metals USA , is currently seeking a Quality Manager for their Northbrook, IL location. The Quality Manager will manage the resources associated with improving internal and customer quality through enhancement of the quality assurance system and customer service functions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
ISO Management Representative
- Oversee the Quality Management System to assure compliance with the ISO9001 standard
- Manage the Quality System documentation
- Manage calibration of all test equipment
- Manage implementation of the internal audit system
- Facilitate response to customer corrective request
- Report monthly on the cost of quality
- Supervise internal and supplier corrective action system
- Coordinate customer claims by investigating root cause, authorize disposition of claim and coordinate return of material and disposition of material
- Coordinate customer claims

- Implementation and control of customer specifications
- Coordinate system of customer satisfaction surveys
- Assist customers in product development and problem solving

- Responsible for final disposition of non-conforming material
