Job Description

Applicant must be knowledgeable and experienced in crane operation activities of safe operation, rigging, signaling, load calculations, lift plans, etc.

Able to operate 70 Sumitomo SC 700 and 70 American 5300 cranes and direct activities of ground support personnel.

Work Environment

All construction is in outside weather conditions where employees are expected to dress appropriately.

Hours of Work

This a full time position with frequent long hours and weekend work. A work week that may vary dependent on weather, time of year, and other concerns is normally 7 am to 5 : 30 pm Monday through Friday with work schedule every other Saturday.

Travel / Location

Present projects are in North Wilkesboro, NC and Spartanburg, SC. Workers receive housing and meal per diem allowances.

Wages

Wage rate dependent on experience but usually $25 or so depending on experience.
