Job Description

As an Email Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all stages of email marketing campaigns such as market research, content creation, and the distribution of copy. Email campaign types include welcome emails, newsletter emails, announcements, re-engagement, surveys, promotional, transactional, and milestones. Creating medically technical promotional content requires collaboration with our in-house educators who specialize in these topics. Essential for this position is a strong dedication to our products and services, along with a high level of technical proficiency in best practices for email automation marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Job Function

• Produce and execute all email campaigns, including building emails from templates and HTML, copywriting, asset coordination, QA, and scheduling.
• Build effective target audiences and segments for every message to drive engagement and revenue performance against KPI goals.
• Collaborate, manage, and execute email marketing calendar and ensure alignment with business priorities.
• Devise and execute A/B tests, record results, and advise on improvements. Testing includes subject lines, message content, CTAs, and new features intended to drive performance.
• Work in partnership with designers and copywriters to optimize email creative and template structure based on best practices.
• Use customer data such as web-behavior to drive the message and content personalization.
• Perform render testing across devices, email clients, and ISPs to ensure that emails are rendered correctly for most of the subscriber base.
• Provide regular campaign performance reports that include opens, clicks, conversions, revenue, unsubscribes, etc.
• Mitigate email frequency between program touchpoints to minimize database churn – including marketing campaigns, automated/triggered emails, promotional emails, and transactional emails.
• Regularly identify trends and email marketing strategies from other leading brands to glean insights on best practices and new innovative ideas for email marketing tactics, including audits of how we can acquire, nurture, and retain these customers.
• Constantly look for new ways to improve overall programs through new technology, tools, partners, trends, and best practices.
