- Position Summary
- A rehab tech works under the supervision of a physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, physical therapist assistant, or occupational therapist assistant to provide a level of non-skilled support to patients in order to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of skilled care provided by a licensed therapist.

- Minimum Qualifications
- Education
- High school junior or senior, or enrolled in college.

- Physical Demands
- Sit occasionally
- Lift waist to waist up to 50 pounds frequently, floor to waist 50 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds waist to overhead occasionally
- Push / pull up to 40 pounds occasionally
- Bend, kneel, stoop, and crawl frequently
- Manual dexterity, eye hand coordination and visual acuity required within normal limits for age and gender
- Reaching overhead frequently
- Climb flight of 13 steps occasionally
- Frequent use of computer required
- Stand / walk constantly

- Essential Functions
- Assist licensed therapist with the treatment of patients as directed by the treating therapist; and per Great Plains Health policies & procedures.
- Assist with the transfer or ambulation of patients after completion of training; and as directed by a treating therapist.
- Direct patients to treatment rooms
- Assist with cleaning of equipment
