ALIGN PRECISION is Hiring a Quality Supervisor Near North Plains, OR

Summary
•Upholds quality assurance compliance objectives and promotes best practices throughout the company while ensuring Standards are met relative to our QMS system and certifications.
•Primary point of contact for QC and the manufacturing floor.Possesses the applicable technical knowledge and capable of performing all types of inspection.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Supervise and manage quality department personnel to ensure all quality standards are met relative to the QMS System and Certifications and customer requirements.These responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Establish daily QC workload schedules, Career Development and Coaching of employees to proliferate a culture of quality and accountability, annual review of employee performance, approval of weekly timesheets, etc.
  • Develops, Drives and Continuously Improves Quality processes and procedures.
  • Internal expert/resource on all quality systems implemented.
  • Train all Quality employees on procedures & monitor performance.
  • Promote Quality Awareness and Education throughout the company.
  • Support a safety-oriented culture within the company
  • Participate in the development of the company's strategic planning, vision, mission and values and desired culture.
  • Provide good feedback and promote good communication.
  • Abide by and support all safety and quality system requirements.
  • Support CMM programming for both NPI and program optimization.
  • Support all Essential Quality functions. (FAI, Control Plans, Gage Studies, etc.)

Education and/or Experience
•Bachelor degree or equivalent, previous experience preferred
Language Skills
•Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.Ability to effectively present information to top management and/or public groups.
Reasoning Ability
•Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
•Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
•Calypso and Solidworks helpful
