Purpose:
The role is crucial in managing Capital Vacations' public reputation and ensuring a positive online image. You will be responsible for monitoring and influencing our digital footprint across various online platforms, including search engines, social media, and review sites. The individual will play a vital role in orchestrating the brand's narrative, executing social media strategies, and proactively addressing reputation issues. Your dedication to excellence and adaptability in our fast-paced environment will be instrumental in safeguarding and enhancing our brand reputation.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Analyze reputation factors and report on brand sentiment by monitoring online mentions, reviews, and feedback across multiple platforms.
- Document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for reputation management processes and procedures.
- Contribute to the brand’s reputation by regularly reviewing information about our products and services from different outlets, including search engines, social media and communities, blogs, and forums.
- Create an amazing customer experience by providing positive content via online messages, posts, and email.
- Recognize possible negative situations and crises and use conflict resolution tactics to solve issues.
- Provide mechanisms to prevent and effectively deal with online reputation threats.
- Examine the facts surrounding social media (negative) comments to provide positive and professional responses. Track reputation issues that require escalation and resolution, collaborating with internal teams to craft proper resolution.
- Submit regular reports to the management.
- Implement public relations strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Draft press releases, media pitches, and other communication materials.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks.
- Assist in crisis communication planning and online response.
- Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities and community management.
- Gather and report on social media metrics on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Coordinate with content creation teams to approve social media calendar and content.
- Coordinate social media content shoots.
All other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in public relations, reputation management, and/or social media.
- Hands-on experience with reputation analytics, business intelligence, and social media listening tools, such as Sprout Social, Keyhole, Mention, and BuzzSumo.
- Working knowledge of content development and management.
- Experience in a customer service-related role, with a focus on resolving issues and addressing feedback.
