We are looking for a thorough Maintenance Technician for a busy vacation rental company to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of premises. The goal is to maintain the properties in the best possible condition.
Property inspections and linen delivery. Can't be afraid to climb a ladder.
Competitive pay and part time schedule. Must work weekends in summer season. Located in NMB. Vehicle necessary. Will reimburse for mileage.
Responsibilities

• Inspect properties and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets)
• Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, toilets, drains, etc.)
• Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry, installation of flooring etc.
• Miscellaneous work orders for repairs
• Delivery of linens in Season to properties

Skills

• Proven experience as maintenance technician
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
• Must be willing to climb a ladder
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
• High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
