Job Designation:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Mechanical Inspector to join our team in North Hollywood, CA. The Quality Inspector II role involves inspecting a variety of components, parts, and products in accordance with established specifications and quality assurance instructions. The ideal candidate will have experience in inspecting mechanical aerospace components and should be familiar with various types of inspection equipment.

Job Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials, and components at different stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Analyze statistical data to confirm compliance with standards or identify deviations.
• Perform visual inspections of soldered connections and mechanical inspections of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Complete all necessary documentation for reporting acceptance/rejection of inspected items.
• Identify and report design, process, or other inefficiencies.
• Conduct routine quality inspections on engineering designs, assemblies, and final products.
• Conduct internal audits and follow up on corrective actions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications:

• Education: Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Skills:
• Ability to follow established procedures with minimal supervision.
• Systematic QA approach to solve technical issues.
• Proficiency in using measuring and test equipment.
• Interpretation of written and verbal instructions, including engineering drawings.
• Proficient computer skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $29.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
