Job Description:

We are seeking a Weekend Physician to join our team and play a vital role in overseeing patient care and treatment at our addiction hospital. As a Weekend Physician, you will be responsible for patient rounding, supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and conducting intake assessments. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals battling addiction.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct patient rounds and assessments on weekends to ensure high-quality care delivery.

- Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to optimize patient treatment plans.

- Perform intake assessments for new patients entering the program, including medical evaluations and treatment planning.

- Provide medical expertise and guidance to the interdisciplinary treatment team.

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans.

Requirements:

- Medical degree from an accredited institution.

- Must have experience in an emergency Medicine environment

- Experience working in addiction medicine or substance abuse treatment highly desirable.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

- Strong clinical skills and ability to assess and manage complex medical cases.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Commitment to providing compassionate care and support to individuals struggling with addiction.

- Valid medical license in Pennsylvania.

Schedule:

PT 2nd shift (2:45pm-11:00pm)

4 weekends per month minimum 1 or both days each weekend.

Sundays preferred.
