Job Description
- Occupational Therapy (OT) is a client-centered health profession focused on enabling individuals of all ages to perform daily activities (occupations) that are meaningful and necessary for their well-being. Occupational therapists help people regain, develop, or maintain the skills needed for day-to-day life through therapeutic activities, adaptive techniques, and environmental modifications.
- OT practitioners work in diverse settings such as hospitals, schools, rehabilitation centers, and homes, addressing a wide range of physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges. Their goal is to improve clients' independence and quality of life by facilitating participation in work, self-care, and leisure activities.
