Job Summary:

Norfolk's newest brick oven pizzeria, Sunshine Tomato, is about to open and we're looking for great candidates to be part of our opening team!

We're looking for skilled and experienced pizza cooks. As a pizza cook, you'll be responsible for preparing and cooking pizzas to perfection. Your culinary expertise and attention to detail will ensure that our customers receive delicious and high-quality pizzas.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare pizza dough by stretching, tossing, and shaping it into the desired size
- Spread sauce and toppings evenly on the dough
- Monitor the cooking process to ensure pizzas are cooked to perfection
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Pizza Cook or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with customers in a friendly manner
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
