Assistant Controller- Norcross- Hybrid
Immediate hire for an Assistant Controller for a PE backed company in the construction industry. This position will offer upward mobility as they continue to grow through acquisitions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Oversee and manage general ledger accounts
- Prepare and review journal entries
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with internal controls
- Assist with audits and tax preparation
- Supervise accounting staff
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or MBA
- 5-7 years of experience in a corporate accounting environment
- Acquisition experience is preferred
- Public accounting preferred but not required
- Experience with NetSuite
- Strong understanding of GAAP
