We are currently seeking a helpful, detail-focused Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This position handles all invoice generation inquiries, manages accounts receivable and collections, and assists customers by providing efficient and courteous service.

This position is full time, Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM EST in-person at our Norcross, GA office.

Compensation: Competitive pay (depending on qualifications).

Responsibilities

• Review weekly reports from Finance Dept. and contact accounts for payment of past due amounts.
• Work with Customer Service to coordinate activities when accounts are placed on credit hold.
• Update customer accounts based on payment or contact information.
• Develop weekly and monthly reports of results on outstanding receivable and collection efforts.
• Document communication with customers in ERP notes.
• Provide coverage to Customer Service when required during peak business hours, vacation, and illness.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an AR Specialist or in a similar role.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• High-level understanding and management of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Experience working within ERP systems preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks desired.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
• Flexible and willing to take on new or ad hoc tasks when required.
• Customer Service experience required.
