We are currently seeking a Design Engineer to work in the structural department of our Norcross, GA office. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in structural engineering. General responsibilities will include performing designs for a variety of project types including Pulp & Paper, Power & Utilities as well as other heavy industrial and commercial structures. The candidate will also assist in design and drafting of larger more complex structural projects.

Qualifications

Candidate must be experienced in:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program, with emphasis in structural design required. MS in structural engineering preferred.
• Experience with current AISC Manual, ASCE7-10, ACI 318-14 and 2018 IBC.
• 5 years of experience in structural design using steel, concrete and masonry
• Solid interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• PE licensure preferred.
• Experience with structural analysis software (RAM)
• Experience with Revit.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
