DGN Technologies is Hiring an Instructional Designer Near Norcross, GA

Primary Function of the Position

A instructional designer/content creator (contract-based) will be responsible for the design and content development of mission critical learning programs, including but not limited to web-based learning, instructor-led training, blended instruction solutions, and virtual, self-led programs. Development will focus on the clinical/technical aspects of our Intuitive products and will be developed using programs like Rise 360, Photoshop, Camtasia, InDesign, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office. Deliverables such as technical product videos and online learning modules will be integrated into learning management systems and multiple delivery platforms.

Essential Job Duties

  • Project manage design phases (prototyping, testing, functionality, UX, dry run, development, publishing).
  • Focus on rapid content development and efficient learning solutions.
  • Proactively communicate task and project status to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in needs analysis to determine training needs within the curricula.
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design learning content.
  • Research, recommend, and implement creative learning experiences.
  • Focus on quality, branding, attention to detail, and user experience.
  • Design and develop training content that engages learners and aligns with identified outcomes.
  • Develop/review videos, eLearning, blended learning, and virtual training programs.
  • Collaborate with multimedia team to create or modify media assets to support instructional needs.
  • Develop eLearning, videos, instructor led, blended learning, and virtual training curriculums.
  • Conduct peer review and QA of deliverables.
  • Work with Implementation Administrator to manage deliverables through.
  • Design, develop, and conduct assessments and evaluations.
  • Analyze assessment and evaluation results to drive design/development improvements.
  • Drive and implement instructional design methodologies across projects and deliverables.
  • Partner with internal and external teams to drive content improvements.
  • Research, recommend, and manage third-party training solutions.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Comprehensive e-learning, on-demand, and rapid development and design skills
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and its application to learning solutions
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience working with SMEs in a team environment
  • Experience working with a learning management system (LMS)
  • Ability to self-manage multiple development projects and deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and branding standards
  • Ability to define and document process
  • Ability to manage large strategic projects
  • Ability to foster and create strong working relationships
  • Ability to coach and provide feedback
  • Ability to design with visual quality and positive user experience
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced team setting

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.79 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
