Inland is Hiring a Warehouseperson Near Nogales, AZ
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Parts Warehouse person will be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory is sorted, properly located and dispensed.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receives ordered parts and checks each item for damage, correct quantities, back orders, etc.
- Assists parts drivers in loading and unloading parts.
- Packages and marks parts orders to meet delivery schedules.
- Helps with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and customer accounts.
- Helps with picking and packing orders for the counter staff, pulling orders from printed invoices for customers and also helps with any parts needed for shop repair jobs.
- Helps keep the parts department clean and orderly by refilling showroom bins as needed, and dusting or sweeping showroom areas as necessary.
- As time allows, inspects the delivery vehicles and cleans as needed to maintain proper vehicle neatness standards.
- Maintains warehouse in good order for efficiency, cleanliness and safety, including parts binning and locating of inventory as needed to keep stock organized.
- Reports any parts issues encountered to the Parts Manager by email or written note.
- Handles pulling of obsolete return parts as needed and assists with core returns as directed.
- Helps with physical inventory counts.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) essential
- One to three years related experience and / or training
- Ability to use non-powered equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, pallet jacks
- Forklift Certification or ability to operate a forklift
- Valid Driver’s License
- Strong computer skills
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Accountability and dependability
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 kgs or 50 pounds
