Curtiss-Wright is Hiring a Logistics Technician Near Newtown, PA
As a member of our operations team, you will prepare and settle bonded materials logbook and maintain the balance of import and export. Working in partnership with the team, the Logistics Technician will manage communications with logistics distribution of material and coordinates the distribution point of material.

Your Challenge
- Works to help the flow of shipments both inbound and outbound in the manner that is most cost effective.
- Routes outbound delivered loads and inbound back-hauls.
- Utilizes logistics software (MS Office and SAP).
- Manages load utilization and coordinates common carrier activities.
- Maintains customer database and profile by customer location. Updates information for each customer.
- Maintains customer delivery time windows.
- Responsible for tracking raw materials.
- Manages communications associated with logistics distribution of material. Coordinates the distribution point of material for incoming and outgoing material.
- High school or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience with data entry.
- 5 years' experience working within a professional environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with knowledge of MS Office.
- Good Interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
