Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our team. As a Kindergarten Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds of young learners and creating a positive and engaging learning environment. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:

  • Interact with students to meet their individual needs to support play, exploration, and learning.
  • Create weekly lesson plans that Implement the school`s curriculum.
  • Communicate daily with children, parents, and staff in a positive, professional manner.
  • Communicate appropriately with parents daily
  • Ability to create, enhance, and maintain the preschool’s policies and program.
  • Show knowledge of and be able to use all assessment tools. This includes daily timeline posts and weekly newsletters.
  • Maintain developmental profiles for children.
  • Carry out parent-teacher conferences twice per academic year
  • Develop, plan, and prepare instructional aids/materials for classroom activities.
  • Assist children with meal times, bathroom needs, and clean-up when needed.
  • Maintain appearance, cleanliness, and safe environment of the classroom and equipment. Arrange the classroom into well-defined, organized, areas of interest.
  • Direct the other staff in the classroom to ensure the class is functioning in an orderly manner.
  • Physical Requirements
  • May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk frequently during the day.
  • May stand four (4) to eight (8) hours per day.
  • May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion or more depending on the child’s weight.
  • Must be able to hear normal voice sounds

Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Valid teaching certification or license
- Proven experience working with young children in an educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to use learning technology effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
